Rita Zielstorff has over 35 years experience with clinical information systems at both the strategic and tactical levels, with a focus on medical, nursing and patient/consumer computing. While a corporate manager at Partners Healthcare System, one of her responsibilities was to design a patient portal for the enterprise, evaluating and selecting consumer health content for presentation on the portal. While a product manager/clinical designer at an e-health vendor firm, one of her responsibilities was the design, development and production of a patient portal that included patient-provider messaging as well as a third-party personal health record.

 

Since joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ms. Zielstorff has been responsible for tracking the current state of personal health records in the U.S., acting as a resource for the firm's clients with respect to the evaluation, selection and deployment of this technology.
