TIGER Consumer Empowerment/Personal Health Record

 

Consumers are becoming more empowered healthcare participants. Informatics can mediate consumers drive for improved health and healthcare as well as broker the relationship between nurse and client.

 

  1. Work with Personal Health Record (PHR) advocates and developers to optimize PHRs as they relate to nursing. 

  2. Establish efforts to develop health information literacy with the public and healthcare consumers.
